Position Title: Assistant Professor - Adult (Medical-Surgical Health Nursing)

Job Description

This faculty position in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, with a focus on the medical-surgical nursing specialty, delivers effective, student-centric instruction using "learning by doing" methodologies, while respecting their' cultural background. Faculty contribute to policy development and actively participates in academic and community events.

Job Requirement

Requirements:
  • Education: 
·  PhD in a relevant discipline, with at least 2 years of experience as an assistant professor. ·   Master's Degree in the relevant discipline; ·   A bachelor's Degree may also be considered for candidates with extensive industry experience and industry certification ·   Appropriate academic professional qualifications as required
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of Health Sciences teaching/training in Nursing within an educational/clinical setting, plus at least 3 years of full-time clinical nursing practice with expertise in at least one general specialty (Medical and Surgical), with a preference for two specializations.
  • Language: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Research: recently published articles in Scopus during the past three years, expected to engage in applied research relevant to divisional interests and national innovation agendas.
